Dear Rachel,
Do you even remember when we first got cell phones? I can’t. No surprise there. I am sure, though, that the first few years after seminary were cell-phone-free, because I distinctly remember wondering how many hours a month we spent on the phone once we no longer lived in the same town. I think we would have been horrified. I think that that time must have been when I figured out that I don’t feel quite so badly talking for a long time on the phone if only I am doing something productive at the same time. Many dishes were washed and counters wiped and clothes folded, all in a 6-foot radius, which was as far as the phone cord would reach.
We’ve come a long way, baby. After only, what? 2 hours and 2 laptops? I think this blog party is ready to get started. Have at it.
Love,
Kiersten
p.s. Do we have to confess that the chocolate bar pictured above is not even remotely in the same state it was just a little bit ago when we photographed it?
I think you should at least blog an updated photo.
50 foot phone cords are my friend. LOL!!
That’s sad. My cell phone is only a year old.
