Caweb’s eyeball fell out. Katie has tried stitching around the hole to tighten it up, but the fact is that this piece of fluff and fabric is disintegrating. Katie is refusing to face reality, and is coping by putting the eyeball in place during the day (and putting Caweb on a bookshelf near her) and taking it out at night and putting it in a safe place so it doesn’t fall out while she sleeps with her.
I suggested trying to replace the eyeballs with buttons, but that idea was apparently not very appealing.
At least it’s an interesting eyeball…I wouldn’t have expected it to look like that.
