Dear Rachel,
I think we should start compiling lists. Here’s the first one: Hardest things to teach a child. My first nomination is “How to Properly Blow His or Her Own Nose.” You can tell them what to do, you can show them what to do, but it takes a looooong time before they actually seem to get the idea that pushing air through their nose (I don’t know HOW, Momma!!!) is going to get out the boogies.

You know, we’ve never really had a problem with this. Maybe it’s because I’m a mean mom and from the time they are little I just take a tissue and squeeze their nose until they blow out in frustration. (insert whistle dude here)
